Growing in faith, together

No matter where you are on your faith journey, you will have plenty of fellow travelers at LCR. We're a community of lifelong learners who love to learn and live into our faith. As we share our experiences of God and interpretations of the Bible, we come to understand more of God ourselves. Questions, doubts, and the beautiful messiness of real life are all welcome.

Adult Sunday School
Sundays, 11 a.m. - Noon | In-person & Online via Zoom

Even as adults, the world is still our teacher and classroom! This hybrid class that meets September through May (and periodically in the summer) is a great way to learn about a variety of topics chosen to help you grow in faith. Learn from prominent and inspirational teachers joining us locally or virtually from locations throughout the world. With permission of the instructor, classes are recorded and available for LCR members.

God's People Searching (GPS)
Tuesdays | 10 - 11:30 a.m.

Each Tuesday during the school year (and once a month during summer break), this women's study group meets for book discussion, bible studies and video viewings. A wonderfully supportive group, there's always time for fellowship and sharing the prayers on your heart and mind. New members are always welcome.

Men's Monday Study Group
Every other Monday | 7:30 - 8:30 p.m.

During the school year, this group for men, led by a retired pastor, meets to explore relevant issues for our time through the lenses of scripture and commentary. Join us for lively discussion on books from contempoary scholars with relections by prominent theologians and practitioners. Members support each other in prayer and community throughout life's ups and downs. New members are always welcome!

New Members Class
Mondays (Fall & Spring) | 6 - 8 p.m.

Build lifelong friendships while you grow in your faith. Whether you've been a Lutheran before or this is a brand new adventure in your faith journey, join us to learn about our Lutheran heritage, how Lutherans read and interpret the Bible, our denomination (the ELCA), our congregation and your own beliefs. New member classes are typically offered twice a year.

Faith, Friendship & Community

Community is one of the greatest gifts of our life together. Whether you're new to the area, in a new phase of life, or looking to grow more intentional relationships in a welcoming, multi-generational community, you are welcome here! Throughout the year, we have dozens of opportunities to join us for food, friendship and growing in faith.
