Join us to learn about the fascinating history of religion! This isn't a boring history class. (We promise!)
We'll explore religion's family tree over the course of the school year, from its deepest roots in pre-history to its current blossomings in our present settings. We'll explore the loving relationships between humans and the Divine that have promoted flourishing in religions across time and place, the skeletons in the closet that can be tough to acknowledge, and, of course, the delightfully strange family secrets lurking behind every family tree. We'll have a special focus on our own branch, Christianity.
By the end of the year, students will have a deeper understanding of how religions function in society and in their own lives, empowering them to imagine new futures for their own faith and religious expression.
