June 2024: Supporting SEM Food Pantry

View our Amazon Wishlist to purchase goods and have them delivered directly to LCR.

Each month, LCR's Outreach Tangible Goods Program collects supplies to distribute to people in need.

This June, we're collecting personal care products for the clients of SEM Food Pantry. Personal care products are not covered by food subsidies and are often in high demand!

We are collecting:

  • Toothpaste
  • Toothbrushes
  • Shampoo
  • Conditioner
  • Deodorant
  • Disposable Razors

Please place items in the bin by LCR's coat closet. You can also purchase items from LCR's Amazon Wishlist and have them delivered directly to the church.

SEM Food Pantry

LCR and other local churches are vital contributors to the Southeastern Ecumenical Ministry (SEM) Food Pantry.

SEM Food Pantry is a large supplier of emergency food to people of Clermont and eastern Hamilton counties.

Staffed by volunteers, SEM is a client-choice food pantry. Clients choose their own food as they would at a grocery store, rather than receiving bags of pre-selected food from pantry staff. This creates an atmosphere of respect and builds trust between clients, staff, and volunteers.

The pantry also operates as an Ohio Benefit Bank site, helping families register for benefits for which they qualify.
