WE ARE A CHURCH THAT IS CALLED TO LOVE OUR NEIGHBOR.
IMMIGRANTS AND REFUGEES
Lutheran's have been leaders in the welcoming of immigrants since World War II. Lutheran Church of the Resurrection works with local, national and international organizations to provide logistics and support to the ongoing efforts of welcoming the stranger.
RECONCILING IN CHRIST
We are Lutherans working with the recognition that racism, sexism, ageism, able-ism, heterosexism, homophobia, and all other artificial distinctions that seek to raise one group into privilege and preference over another, conspire together to diminish our world and the church.
Lutheran Church of the Resurrection will stand up against racism and do anything we can to end it. We are involved with many groups to help educate our neighbors and make them aware of racial issues.
Lutheran Church of the Resurrection and our denomination the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) is committed to fostering unity among the children of God for the sake of the world. In the community of Greater Cincinnati, our faith community encourages the activity of ecumenical and interreligious life and enhancing commitments of our church in ecumenical and interfaith circles.
