This year’s Lenten offerings will be shared with SEM Food Pantry, an LCR Outreach-supported client-choice food pantry serving 23,000 clients annually in the Mt. Washington area. The all-volunteer facility partners with the FreeStore Foodbank, local businesses and area churches to secure food and non-food items not covered by food-assist programs.

During Lent, we take time to reflect on the faith journeys that take us down many winding paths, but always towards God. Our theme, Wandering Heart, will guide our Lenten reflections. We’ll take a closer look at the life of Jesus’ disciple Peter, well-known for the ways he was both steadfast and unsteady, a dear friend and a betrayer, a follower and a wanderer. By following Peter’s journey, we watch the story of Jesus unfold through the eyes of a very normal human trying to figure it all out—just like us.
