ESOL Volunteer Training Session

Interested in volunteering for English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)?

Join us for a Volunteer Training Session! You can attend either Thursday, Sept. 4 or Saturday, Sept. 6.

The first half hour, we'll provide information about the program and answer questions. The remaining time will focus on training.

Volunteer Roles Available:

• Teaching (in-person or Zoom)
• Homework help for elementary students, childcare, activity planners for the youngest
• Transportation (drivers to bring students to class or take home students)
• Refreshment helpers (set up snacks and/or get groceries - LCR reimburses for groceries)
• Welcome table (greet and help people as they sign in)
• Tangible needs helpers (help Jane sort items for browsing; put away donations at end of class)
