Re-opening soon? Our answer... we never closed.

As we consider the ever-changing landscape of the COVID-19 pandemic our primary concern remains the safety of all of our members and for the spiritual life, health, and wellbeing of our congregation. Many have asked us "when will be able to worship in-person again?" Our answer is that Christ's Church never closed.

In recent weeks our LCR Cares campaign has raised nearly $50,000 for our community partners that are on the front lines of the pandemic serving our neighbors. Over 40,000 pounds of food was delivered to the mission in Myra, Kentucky and we continue to "walk together while apart" through online workshops, book studies, and small groups.

While we cannot yet meet together in-person we continue to stream our services every week. Our services include live music, the full liturgy, and an opportunity for in-home communion.

The goal of our church leadership is to return to in-person worship as soon as it is safe to do so. In the meantime, we will continue to update you as plans develop or change. We will also make available any additional resources from the Synod and church-wide office regarding the pandemic.
