Zarrentin

LCR embraces the ELCAs direction on Mission, as being something we do in partnership with others walking together as companions on a journey as we discover the things we have in common. With this in mind, we have developed two companion relationships: in Zarrentin, Germany and Guatemala City.

We've enjoyed several years as a sister congregation with St. Peter and St. Paul Lutheran Church in Zarrentin. Recently we welcomed several of the members of their church when they visited us from June 26 to July 8, 2009. Host families and our entire congregation were invited to participate in the many outings and dinners enjoyed throughout their stay. We look forward to a future trip to visit them in Zarrentin.
