Worship

At Lutheran Church of the Resurrection (LCR) worship is a central component of our faith life. We believe that God meets us in a special way in this common celebration of God’s love for all people through Jesus Christ. We offer traditional and contemporary services that provide a variety of worship options.

Schedule of Services: Saturday 5:30 PM (Traditional)
Sunday 8:00 AM Spoken Word (Traditional)
9:15 AM (Traditional)
11:45 AM Joyful Noise (Contemporary)

Sunday School - Adults and Children  10:45 AM (during the school year)

Service Instruction

Communion is available each week at all services. LCR practices open Communion, which means that if you believe that the Lord our God is present in the wine and bread and you have been baptized, you are welcome to receive Communion. Wine is offered in a common cup, with red wine and white grape juice also offered in individual cups. Children and those not yet baptized are welcome to come forward to receive a blessing.

Child Care

Child care is offered in the nursery for all children 4 years old and younger at both the 9:15 and 11:45 services. If older children attending worship are in need of activities, activity bags containing crayons, paper, and other useful items are available.
