Fellowship
LCR seeks to be a welcoming community with many opportunities for Christian fellowship so that we may get to know one another better.
DOUGHNUT FELLOWSHIP: is provided by our Sr. High Youth Group each week following our 9:15 a.m. worship service.
Annual and On-Going Fellowship Events
- Luther’s Tables for adults and Katie’s Tables for families are on-going monthly fellowship events in small groups. Sign up for a table in the fall and enjoy the company of your group throughout the year.
- Young Adult Ministry - For young adults in their 20’s and 30’s, married or sing, interested in adult fellowship and service in the community. Meets monthly for either a fellowship event or a service project. Watch for details in the bulletin and newsletter. Contact: John & Melissa Fireovid, Brian & Catherine Reed, or Amy Fireovid.
- Saturday Gathering Group - This group meets every 2nd Saturday of the month after worship for an evening of food, fellowship and fun at local area restaurants.
- Past 50 Group - We meet for breakfast on the second Monday of each month at Frisches (next to Hader Hardware on Beechmont Ave). If you are 50 or older, please join us at 9 am on the next 2nd Monday.
- Fifth Saturday Breakfast Group - All LCR women, friends and relatives are invited to join us for breakfast at MARIEMONT INN (National Exemplar, Wooster Pike). This W.E.L.C.A. event occurs whenever a month happens to have a 5th Saturday.
- Euchre Club - Open to all levels of experience, this new group gathers to play euchre and join in fellowship. There are no commitments, just come when you are able. Watch for details in the bulletin and newsletter. Contact: Jill Guenther.
- Co-Ed Volleyball - Sand volleyball for all levels of experience, interested players meet in the Spring for matches and fellowship. Watch for details in the bulletin and newsletter. Contact: Paul Ohlin
- Men’s Softball - Men of all ages and levels of experience meet on Monday evenings for games around Anderson Township. Fun for players and spectators alike. Watch for details in the bulletin and newsletter. Contact: Mark Perry.
- Stitch ‘N Stuff - No sewing experience necessary! This on-going ministry gathers to work on projects for Lutheran World Relief and Children’s Hospital. Meets the second and third Tuesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Contact: Margaret Garver.
- Crafting Friend’z - Friends come together to work on their own hand-crafted items and share in fellowship with each other or may work on hand-stamped cards for the Caring Team Ministry’s Connecting Team to send to members and friends. Meets at 6:30 p.m. on the fourth Friday of each month at the church. Contact: Barb Schmidt.
- Prayer Shawl Ministry - Open for anyone who knits or crochets or who would like to learn. Meets on Tuesdays at 6:30 p.m. at the church. Contact: Pam Rosenbaum.
