Worship Services at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection are held at 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and 8:00 a.m., 9:15 a.m. and 11:45 p.m. Sundays

Worship in the Garden Beginning June 8, (weather permitting) our 8 am service will move into the Memorial Garden.
Sevice Time Change Also on June 8, our Praise Service time will change to 11:15 am. The liturgies and services for July will be: July 5/6: 8th Sunday after Pentecost, Haas liturgy 12/13: 9th Sunday after Pentecost, LBW II liturgy 19/20: 10th Sunday after Pentecost, With One Voice liturgy 26/27: 11th Sunday after Pentecost, Now the Feast liturgy
The Time after Pentecost continues throughout summer. God’s Word is like the rain that waters the earth and brings forth vegetation. It is also like the sower who scatters seeds indiscriminately. Our lives are like seeds sown in the earth. Even from what appears to be little, dormant, or dead, God promises a harvest. At the Lord’s table we are fed with the bread of life, that we may bear fruit in the world.
Many in the congregation have asked if we will be having another Coffeehouse this year. Great news! Plans are underway for another Coffeehouse with the Joyful Noise Praise Band on Saturday, November 22, in conjunction with a World Hunger event. More details will follow in the August newsletter.
V OLUNTEERS WELCOMEDIf your musical gifts are more instrumental, we still have need for a backup keyboardist to play in the Joyful Noise Band. Contact John Snowden.
We always have need for people to be trained as a Sound Tech to operate the sound equipment for our worship services. Please contact Rick Carter or Jason Leupen.
We are in need of Cantors for Saturday the night service. Please contact Rich Weyhrich.
